Sara Bartlett

Sara grew up in the Fraser Valley and has always had a passion for the outdoors, animals, and plants. She has been starting and running her own businesses since she was 22, including a boutique digital media agency focusing on small local organic food-based clients. Working in this space, and the dream of one day having her own farm, led her to pursue a horticulture diploma from the University of Guelph. She is most interested in plant breeding, seed saving, and sustainable farming practices. When she’s not at her desk you can find her working on turning her 10-acre property into an organic farm, reading some kind of book on plants, thrift shopping, training horses, or enjoying a coffee.
