A Rocha Farm in Surrey, BC has been operating a community-supported agriculture (CSA) program since 2005.
We offer a 22-week vegetable CSA starting in June and a 10-week flower CSA starting in July. By joining our CSA, you get a part of our farm’s harvest in weekly vegetables, or flowers, with access to over 200 varieties of veggies and 100 varieties of flowers.
We are the only market-style CSA in the Lower Mainland. You can choose what you want from our harvest line each week instead of receiving a pre-packed bin. Have lettuce in your garden? Take something else! We also partner with other local growers for organic fruit, bread, meat, eggs and much more so you can purchase these along the way and pick them up at the same time as your veggies.
As part of the Brooksdale Environmental Centre, we are both a production farm and educational centre. Alongside our environmental conservation colleagues, we aim to care well for all human and nonhuman communities in our Tatalu River watershed (Little Campbell River). Our program is supported by residents who live on the farm to learn about growing food, living in the community, and caring for nature and each other.
