Part of BC Seeds first BC Seed Gathering, November 9-11, 2012.
Tallulah Winkelman and Sarah May Redmond sing a song based on Woody Gutherie’s classic “This Land is Our Land”. The song is part of the play Project Corndog written by Winkelman in collaboration with other members of Theatre on Earth. The new lyrics talk about the diversity, cultural value and common heritage of seed.
The BC Seeds Gathering is a provincial gathering of seed growers, community leaders, and farmers from across British Columbia, Canada. Various participants from the conference present their views on seed saving at the first BC Seeds Gathering, Nov. 9- 11, 2012.
The conference was organized and presented by FarmFolk CityFolk and hosted at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Richmond, British Columbia.
