Squamish Seed Library

Our Seed Library’s vision is “to collectively adapt seeds to our region to support biodiversity and community resilience” and our mission is “to engage a growing portion of our local gardeners in seed saving and sharing”.

We also wish to provide access to seeds, without barriers, to community members. For that reason, we no longer have an annual membership fee but we do suggest making a small annual ($5) donation when possible, in order for us to restock the seed library when not enough seeds are returned by growers.

Our seed library operates on an honour system. Members are free to stop by during the Squamish Public Library opening hours and take out or return seeds as they please.
