Saturna Seed Sharing Library

Housed in the Saturna Island Community Library at 140 East Point Road, the Saturna Seed Sharing library is open during library hours for community members to donate or “borrow” seeds.

The library offers wide selection of locally- and regionally-grown seeds – including native species – which are either certified organic or ecologically grown without chemicals.

Saturna Seed Sharing also organizes a series of community events in spring, summer, and autumn, from Seedy Saturdays or Sundays, to garden tours, skill shares on topics like composting and seed saving, and harvest feasts.
