Feast of Fields is FarmFolk CityFolk’s annual local food celebration and signature fundraising event, held each year on a different farm in the Okanagan Valley, on Southern Vancouver Island, and in Metro Vancouver. The Feast is Canada’s largest and longest-running local food and beverage festival, and over the past 25 years, FarmFolk CityFolk has hosted 60 Feasts!
This year, the Metro Vancouver Feast of Fields will be held at Stable Harvest Farm in Langley on Sunday, September 10th.
Our host, Stable Harvest Farm, came to life in 2020 from the dedication of a local philanthropist Syd Belzberg and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the community. The organization hosts thousands of students each season to learn about the intersection of agriculture and environment in building a sustainable local food system. They have donated 340,000lbs of fresh produce from their demonstration market garden through multiple charitable outlets throughout Metro Vancouver. It truly is a place to be inspired, grow, and connect.
Feast of Fields is a four-hour wandering gourmet harvest festival that highlights the connections between farmers and chefs, field and table, and farm folks and city folks. With a wine glass and napkin in hand, you’ll stroll across a field, travelling from tent to tent, listening to live music, and tasting gourmet creations from some of the Lower Mainland’s top chefs, bakers, food artisans, vintners, brewers, distillers and other beverage producers. Your ticket price covers all food and beverage.
Elevate your experience Feast of Fields with our limited VIP package. Enjoy a private tasting with Burdock & Co chef Andrea Carlson and a private guided tour of Stable Harvest Farm. VIP guests will also get access to enter Feast 30 minutes early for the tasting, receive an exclusive gift bag, a souvenir cedar plate, a private area to relax and enjoy their Feast bites, exclusive washroom access, and a $75 tax receipt.
As a fundraising event we also offer:
All of our food and beverage participants donate their products and time to Feast of Fields– for which we are very grateful.
We encourage Feast guests to carpool, bike or take transit. Please plan on a safe ride home.
We have an area designated for bike parking inside the gates at Stable Harvest Farm.
Hop on our Feast bus that will take you directly to the farm and back. Tickets must be purchased in advance, printed off or on your mobile device and brought with you.
Free parking is available a short walk (approx. 10 min) from the farm at Fraser Valley Auctions (21801- 56th Ave. Langley, BC V2Y 2M9). Volunteers will direct you to the farm after you have parked your vehicle. Please note: there is no parking on the farm.
