The countdown is on and we cannot wait to celebrate local with you!
In 2021, we are hosting Feast of Fields ‘At Home.’ Guests will pick up boxes showcasing the very best local makers and growers have to offer: delicious bites sourced from nearby farms and prepared by top BC chefs, drinks from local breweries and vineyards, and thoughtful accoutrements like flowers and commemorative plates. While guests enjoy their feast, they will log in to a virtual celebration featuring an exclusive food demonstration, a local farm video tour, live music, raffle draws, and ample opportunities to mingle with farmers, producers, chefs, and fellow feast-goers.
Join us online for an exclusive virtual celebration. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we have re-envisioned our festival as an interactive ‘at-home’ celebration. To prepare, guests will pick up boxes containing everything they need to assemble a ready-to-eat gourmet feast in their own backyard. These thoughtfully curated boxes will showcase the very best seasonal ingredients local farmers, ranchers, and foods artisans have to offer: delicious bites prepared by BC’s top chefs, tasty libations from local vintners, brewers, and distillers, and elegant accoutrements.
We will learn how to plate the bites directly from some of the participating chefs, and hear how ingredients were sourced and grown. Guests will also enjoy a video tour of a local climate-friendly farm, hear from guest speakers, and mingle with farmers, producers, chefs, and other feast-goers; building community while we celebrate apart.
Boxes are available through 32auctions and links can be found on each event page linked below.
Why 32auctions?
With this year’s virtual event format, our status as a registered charity limits us in how we can provide alcohol to our guests. 32auctions is how we can fulfill our event requirements while also ensuring you get to taste the best local vintners, distillers, and brewers have to offer.
‘Bid’ or ‘Buy Now’
Like a standard auction, you will be required to either ‘bid’ on a box or ‘buy now.’ By purchasing a box, you will secure your spot at the Feast event of your choice and receive an invoice immediately. If you choose to bid, you will have to wait until the auction is closed to confirm your attendance.
We encourage you to purchase your box now so you won’t be out-bid! If you see that there is a current bid on one of the boxes, we encourage you to select a listing with no active bids.
