Volcanic Hills Winery
Volcanic Hills Estate Winery opened in May 2010. The 15,000 square foot winery is situated on the south-eastern slope of Boucherie Mountain, a dormant stratovolcano created nearly 60 million years ago, which inspired the name Volcanic Hills. The Gidda family began growing grapes in the late 1970’s and at one time, was the largest independent grape producer in the valley. The family tradition continues with the youngest members, Christina, Bobby, and Amit, taking over the business. Currently, the winery produces 25 wines including a Bubbly Gewürztraminer, red and white blends, varietals, late harvest and Icewines as well as volcanic-themed blends such as Eruption, Magma, and Lava. Join the Wine Club and have wines shipped directly to you. Open year-round. Stop by and visit us.
