My first job was working at the local Farmer’s Market selling and promoting my Mom’s start-up beverage company! I was just turning 15 and loved the support and friendships that were created. Putting a face to the producer and supplier really makes all the difference. Buying fresh fruits and veggies every weekend and getting to know the farmer’s has been such an important piece of education that I did not even know I was receiving! I always source my ingredients locally – packaging as well. I use simple plant-based ingredients. I also love to use my social channels to inspire and promote all home-based bakers to do the same!
