In the pursuit of harmony

Kalala Organic Estate Winery is a family-owned winery located on the Upper Bench of beautiful West Kelowna, in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. The winery has been producing wine since 2006, officially opening its doors to the public in 2008.

We are very passionate about organic, sustainable, and eco-friendly. The owner, Karnail Singh Sidhu, believes that the land is a gift for future generations, so we need to keep it close to nature as much as possible. Therefore, both our vineyards and wine are certified organic. Karnail also won the viticulturist of the year.

Little Straw Vineyards’ ownership was passed to Karnail when the Slamka family retired. The Slamka family planted their first vineyard in 1969, and they opened the wine shop in 1996. This one of the oldest wineries in West Kelowna is well known for its white wine, especially Tapestry. Now, the winery is also in the process to become a certified organic winery.
