Joshua Batson, Director

Joshua is an interdisciplinarian who is passionate about fostering resilient ecosystems and promoting sustainable development while working with multiple parties. He is currently a project management consultant at Forest Foods, where he specializes in facilitative management, capacity building, project development, and implementation, as well as the design of fiscal regimes for the natural resource sector. With Forest Foods, Joshua has worked with several Indigenous Bands throughout the interior of British Columbia. Prior to this, Joshua has held numerous research positions with the Canadian International Resources and Development Institute and McGill University’s School of Dietetics and Human Nutrition. Joshua is also a self-described foodie, nature observer, and professional divemaster who is most at home in or near an aquatic environment.
