At this year’s Metro Vancouver Feast of Fields, guests were invited to taste their way through the festival and vote for their favourite bite or sip of the day.
The Metro Vancouver Forks Up Award: The Feast Favourite was a new addition to our event, giving participating presenters a chance to showcase their creativity through dishes and drinks inspired by seasonal BC ingredients.

After an afternoon of tasting, guests named Misebloom the 2026 Feast Favourite!

Misebloom brought two bites that reflect their approach to food, combining bold flavours, flowers, vegetables and BC-grown ingredients.
Their first bite was a Misebloom Flower Petal with a nasturtium flower-infused cracker, grilled longanisa, wild bergamot, white alpine strawberry and jalapeño glaze, nasturtium and tomato leaf aioli, sumac and smoked kelp crunch, and edible flower confetti.

Their second bite was Charcoal-grilled Mushroom and Eggplant with spruce syrup, smoked kelp chilli crunch, microgreens and edible flower confetti.

About Misebloom

Chefs and urban farmers Jenna Marcotte and Genesis Sotana first met while working at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport. After departing, they each followed their own paths through the restaurant industry before reconnecting a few years later around a shared interest in local, seasonal food.

They now spend their days growing their own food, taking inspiration from nature, and turning it into products for Misebloom – a product line and catering company that focuses on using seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms.

This season, you can also find Misebloom at the UBC Saturday Farmers Market, where their farmstand features small-batch botanical products, edible flower bouquets, Filipino BBQ with a botanical twist, and their crowd-favourite smoked BC kelp seasoning.

Forks Up Award

The Forks Up Award: The Feast Favourite was made possible with the support of Edible Vancouver & Wine Country, who helped us celebrate the creativity of our presenters.

As the 2026 Feast Favourite, Misebloom received a half-page ad in the November/December issue of Edible Vancouver & Wine Country, a cedar Forks Up Award, as well as produce, tea and flowers from UBC Farm.

Thank you to all of our presenters for showcasing local food and drink, and to all of the guests who voted and helped make this award possible.

Congratulations to Misebloom on being our very first Metro Vancouver Feast Favourite!
