The session includes a virtual farm tour filmed in late fall with farmer Lydia Ryall, offering a look at how cover crops are integrated into an organic vegetable operation. You will hear practical insights on building soil structure, improving nutrient cycling, reducing compaction and erosion, and supporting biodiversity on the farm.
Following the tour, April Stainsby from Delta Farmland and Wildlife Trust shares learnings from cover cropping demonstration trials. The session concludes with a farmer-focused Q&A.
