Guy Dauncey gives the keynote address at the FarmFolk CityFolk AGM. Dauncey is an author, futurist, and anthropological economist who works to develop a positive vision of a beautiful, kind, sustainable future, and to translate that vision into action.
Dauncey is founder of the BC Sustainable Energy Association, co-founder of the Victoria Car Share Cooperative, President of the Yellow Point Ecological Society, an Honorary Member of the Planning Institute of BC, a Fellow of the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland, and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts.
He is the author or co-author of ten books, including the award-winning Cancer: 101 Solutions to a Preventable Epidemic and The Climate Challenge: 101 Solutions to Global Warming.
His lifetime project is to rewrite the story of who we are, integrating the perennial dream of a better future into our scientific, evolutionary and civilizational story.
